From Pittsburgh:

Take I79 South to Exit 148, follow I68 East (toward Cumberland). Follow I68 East to Exit 23 at Bruceton Mills, make right onto WV26 South. At Albright, take left on St. Joe Rd (toward Camp Dawson). At intersection with WV Route 7, make left and follow Route 7 East through Terra Alta. Make left onto Alpine Lake Road, guard gate 2 miles on right.

From Route 51 South take Route 119 South/Pa 43 Turnpike (toll road but quick & direct). Follow PA 43 South; name change to WV 43 South. End of WV43 take left exit onto I68 East (toward Cumberland). Take Exit 23 at Bruceton Mills, make right onto WV26 South. At Albright, take left onto St Joe Rd (toward Camp Dawson). At intersection with WV Route 7, make left and follow Route 7 East through Terra Alta. Make left onto Alpine Lake Road, guard gate 2 miles on right.

From Washington-Baltimore Area:

Interstate 70 West to Interstate 68 West (which begins at Hancock). Stay on I-68 West until you get to the Route 219 South exit (Exit 14-Keysers Ridge). Stay on 219 South until you get to Oakland, MD. At the 4th stop light in Oakland take a right onto Route 39 West. Stay on 39 West for 7 miles and you will come to the West Virginia state line. The road then becomes WV Route 7 West. Go another 2 ½ miles to the sign on the left just after the state road garage that says Alpine Lake. Take the road to the right (Alpine Lake Road- Route 46). In 2 miles you will see the entrance to Alpine Lake on your right.

From Northern Virginia Area:

Traveling from the NOVA area, take either Route 7 or Interstate 66 West to Interstate 81 South. Exit at US 48 E at Strasburg. Stay on 48 (corridor H) through Wardensville and Moorefield. Exit right at Communications Drive, the, Right onto WV 93 E and Left onto WV 42 at Liberty gas station. Following WV 42 to US 50/Mt. Storm and take a left onto 50W. Follow through Gormania where you will take a right onto MD 560 N into Oakland. Left into Oakland and follow WV 7 West. Go another 2 ½ miles to the sign on the left just after the state road garage that says Alpine Lake. Take the road to the right (Alpine Lake Road- Route 46). In 2 miles you will see the entrance to Alpine Lake on your right.

From Charleston:

On Interstate 79 – Interstate 79 North to Morgantown, take I-68 East to exit 4 (Sabraton exit) for Route 7 East. Go approximately 36 miles on Route 7 East. One mile past Terra Alta, a sign on the right will say Alpine Lake Resort; take the road to the left (Alpine Lake Road – Route 46). In 2 miles you will see the entrance to Alpine Lake on your right.
